pet's point of view

I wonder why they confine me to this small garage. It's hot during the day and cold at night. It's pitch black no matter what time it is, and all I have to do is sleep the day away. I love hearing the sound of that big door open, so I can run out to go and play. I only have a few hours out hear, so I race off to my favorite spot. The garden. There's grasshoppers a plenty, and good places to hide, there's butterflies to chase, and things to climb. Then I hear the call of my family, beconing me back to my confinement. Only twelve more hours until that garage door open again. So I race to my food dish. Great. Those gross dry nugget things again. Don't they believe in treats? Well I guess I am kind of mean to them, but it's their fault, they pet me, and hold me, and tease me, so I tease and fight back. It's night again, time to curl up on my rug to wait for the door to open again.
