Teen's Top Ten

The only book I've read that was on the top ten was Breaking Dawn. I personally really liked it, but I like all of the Twilight series, so I could have just liked it for that reason. The only thing that I didn't really like about it was that it packed alot of stuff into one book. That was the only thing that I thought she could have done a little bit differently.
I think that other teens chose this book to go into the top ten because everyone loved the rest of the series, and people were very excited to get the next book. They probably thought that it was just as good as I thought it was. Stephenie Meyer is an amazing author, and people love her work, so I'm not surprised that people voted it into the top ten.
I think that it does deserve to be in the top ten because it was a very good book. After all the support that the series got, I think that it definately deserved it.

Edgar Allen Poe

I remember a few years ago when one of my teachers read us the tell-tale heart about the time of Halloween. We had to sit and listen to it for forever, I just thought that the story was weird. It was about a man that killed someone and buried him under the floorboards, but he could still hear the beating heart. It eventually drove him insane. I didn't really enjoy it because at the end we had to fill out a worksheet about it. That just ruins the enjoyment of it.
That's the only story I have ever heard of his. I expect the others to be scary or weird. The most experience I've had with horror books is mostly Goosebumps books, and they were just kinda stupid.
I think that we will most likely be reading scary stories, seeing at it is October, and getting close to Halloween.
